Families from across the Hill Country gathered throughout October to enjoy the seasonal festivities at the annual Pumpkin Patch at Pipe Creek Christmas Tree Farm.
Open on weekends and closing its season out last Sunday, the event offered an array of kid-friendly activities and autumnal charm for visitors of all ages.
For a $6 admission fee, guests enjoyed hayrides, a haystack for climbing, hop balls, scarecrow dressing, and visits with farm animals.
Aimed at children under 10, the Pumpkin Patch also featured a large sandbox, rubber duck races, and endless photo opportunities surrounded by 6,000 Christmas trees.
Families looking for more could opt to purchase tickets for additional activities, including a kiddie barrel train ride and pumpkin painting.
The farm’s snack bar served up fall favorites like hot dogs, Frito pie, and toasted marshmallows, while the Farmers Market provided seasonal decorations such as pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn and corn stalks.
Located at 805 Phils Road, just a short drive from both San Antonio and Boerne, the Pipe Creek Pumpkin Patch has been a favorite for Hill Country families since its debut in 2010.
Operated by the same family that has run the Pipe Creek Christmas Tree Farm since 1994, the Pumpkin Patch wrapped up another successful season this past weekend, providing cherished memories and signaling the start of the festive season.
