Bandera County early voting totals have continued to climb, reaching 8,320 voters, or 43.73% of the county’s 19,026 registered voters, by October 29.
That percentage is the second-highest in the state.
As of Monday evening, the county’s in-person turnout percentage stands at 42.15%, alongside an additional 300 mail ballots received.
This turnout, however, trails the 2020 general election numbers, when the county saw a 58.76% early turnout, amounting to 10,046 in-person voters and a total of 64.47% with mail-in ballots included.
This year, Bandera County has 19,026 registered voters, up from 17,098 in 2020, marking an increase in voter registration over the past four years.
Early Voting Locations and Hours Bandera County voters can cast early ballots at three locations: the Ray F. Mauer Building, the Lakehills Area Library, and the Medina Annex. Voting hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday through November 1.
Election Day Voting Precincts On Election Day, voters in Bandera County will be able to cast ballots at designated precinct locations across the county, including Shepherd’s Gate Church, Pipe Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Lakehills Civic Center, Medina Annex, and several others.
What’s on the Ballot
Bandera County voters will be making choices across federal, state, and local offices. In addition to voting for U.S. President, they will select representatives for the U.S. House of Representatives, Texas State Board of Education, Texas Legislature, Texas 4th Court of Appeals, and a range of county offices.
Nonpartisan positions for the Bandera ISD Board of Trustees, City of Bandera Mayor and City Council, and Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District Board are also on the ballot.
