8th Grade A Team
The 8th Grade Lady Bulldogs traveled to Uvalde on Thursday to take on the Lady Lobos.
The team short in a hardfought battle 9-26. We are starting to get the feel of the game and play as a whole.
We will continue to work hard to improve each week. We were definitely more aggressive this game and I could not be prouder!
We have had some girls step up to be leaders for their team, and that is all that I can ask for.

8th Grade B Team
The Lady Bulldog 8th grade B team defeated Uvalde 19 to 6.
The Bulldogs got off to a slow start and were trailing by 2 points at the end of the first half, 4 to 6.
However, the ladies stepped up their defensive game and did not allow Uvalde to score a single point in the second half.
The Lady Dogs used their defense to generate offense and finished strong, scoring 11 points in the 4th quarter.
Jada Bergfeld was the leading scorer with 7 points, and Jessa Haws and Gracelyn Upton frustrated the Uvalde ball handlers, providing easy steals for our aggressive defense.
7th Grade A Team
Back after Thanksgiving break your Lady Bulldogs went out and dominated the Uvalde Lady Lobos bringing home the win 29-13.
We are starting to learn to play together as well as positions. Defensively our press break was tough to get through.
Brooke Montelongo led the ladies with 10 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Gracen Spruell had 6 points and 2 rebounds.
Gabrielle Colony and Blu Rollo both contributed 5 points and adding steals, assists and rebounds to the books. Rehnahta Gomez added 3 points with 2 steals and 3 rebounds.
Sienna Collazo played a strong defensive game while putting up 3 blocks and 3 steals. Mackenzie Clay and Kassidy Sizemore showed their awesome skills with 2 rebounds and 2 steals each. Maddie Arriola was aggressive attacking the boards with 3 rebounds and running a great offensive set up.
Aaliyah Khan stood a strong offensive ground up against the lobos as they attempted to tear down her fast breaks after sneaking in with 4 steals.
I am so proud of each of the young ladies on this successful win and we hope to use this as a foundation for further growth come Monday, Dec. 4, as we take on the Lady Cats here in Bandera.
7th Grade B Team
7B Girls Basketball played against Uvalde Thursday night, losing the game 14-6.
Although this is not the result we were hoping for, the girls played excellent team basketball and have improved their overall gameplay.
Ryley Boyd totaled 4 points and Brylee Philips with 2.
Bentley O’Donnal and Makayla Clay both grabbed 3 rebounds each. Jazmine Rhodes had 2 and Brylee Phillips had 1. Harley Randall and Makayla Clay hustled and got 1 steal each.
Defense has also improved as Shae Spofford, Ryley Boyd, Makayla Clay, and Jazmine Rhodes all had 1 block each.
The girls look to bounce back from this game and play good basketball against Carrizo Springs on Monday.
