Social Security · 2020 – Trump threatens to cut Social Security funds if he’s re-elected. · 2024 - Trump suggests he’s open to cutting social Security and Medicare · 2024 – Social Security is on the ballot…as Trump threatens cuts Don’t doubt it. On March 11, 2024, Trump said this: “There is a lot you can do in terms of entitlements, in terms of cutting and in terms of also the theft and the bad management of entitlements….There’s tremendous amounts of things and numbers of things you can do.”
Trump defenders say cutting the payroll taxes that fund Social Security and Medicare will save the U.S. money. This from a man who added over $8 trillion to the federal debt while he was president and cut taxes for billionaires making them $2.2 trillion dollars richer since 2017.
We will see deep cuts in Medicare, the probable elimination of Medicaid and significant cuts to Social Security benefits, if not the abolition of Social Security.
The grandparents of younger Trump voters will suffer and the children of older Trump voters will live under the rule of a convicted criminal out to drastically change the U.S. government and the Constitution.
I was born in Texas in 1938. I believe in what Texas was – a place where you fight for freedom and never stand down. And I won’t. Because I remember The Alamo.
On October 13, 2024, Trump said he plans to send military police to control protestors: “I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within…we have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics… and it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard or if really necessary by the military….. “
I am “the enemy within.” And I am not afraid.
