Medina’s playoff run came to an end Thursday night as the Bobcats were defeated by Jonesboro, 70-20, in the Area Round of the Class 2A Division II playoffs. The Bobcats, coming off a dominant 48-0 victory over Prairie Lea to claim the Bi-District Championship (pictured), struggled to keep pace with Jonesboro’s high-powered offense. Despite a strong start, Medina could not contain Jonesboro's offensive attack, which proved too much to handle. The loss ends Medina's season with a 9-3 record.
