Several events are scheduled across the Hill Country on Thursday, November 28, to bring locals together in celebration of Thanksgiving.
The First National Ice Haus will host its weekly BYOV (Bring Your Own Vinyl) event, inviting vinyl lovers to bring their favorite records and spin them for the crowd. Those who can guess the tune will win a free beer. The event will be held throughout the day, offering a fun, laid-back atmosphere for music fans.
For those seeking a more relaxed experience, Haus Soul Stretch Gentle Yoga will be offered at 10 a.m. at the Ice Haus. Led by Elana Marceron, the class is designed to help participants unwind and stretch. As a gesture of thanks, local first responders and their families can attend free of charge.
Over at the Lakehills Community Center, the Hill Country Good Samaritans will host their 13th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Meal from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to all, offering a warm and welcoming place to share a meal with neighbors.
Monte Alteza-Tapas & Wine Garden is also hosting a community gathering, offering a free Thanksgiving feast from 1 p.m. until the food runs out. The event is open to all families, providing an opportunity to celebrate together in a festive setting.
Finally, Shotgun Sports Bar & Grill will hold its 4th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner beginning at 3 p.m. The free meal, graciously donated by Shotgun, is open to the public. In addition to the meal, guests can enjoy drink specials and games throughout the afternoon.
