Just think, if Trump had become a Dictator during his first term, I probably couldn't write this letter to the Editor. Joe Biden would never have been President, and the Laughing Hyena would never have been VP. What Happened?
Well, for one thing it takes a lot of time to become a dictator. There are too many media sources to silence and take over, too many institutions to destroy and he would have to deny a massive number of voters a say in our government. Requiring voter photo ID isn't going to help do that.
In the U.S. there are already 22 things that require a photo ID. All people including the rich along with the poor, marginalized, minorities and elderly have to produce it.. For example, such Liberal favorite programs as Social Security, Welfare, Medicare, applying for Food Stamps, picking up a RX, Unemployment Benefits, and my favorite adopting a pet require it.
I wonder why the left doesn't holler about the other 22 items as discriminating against specific groups of people.
Actually, with the liberal control of the national news media, the education system, support of moral break down, failure to enforce our laws and prosecute criminals, allowing open borders and non-vetting of those entering our country, hatred of religion and permitting Burning Looting and Murder, the Dems have done more harm to our democracy than Trump ever will. On 10/16/2024 the FBI corrected its previous report that overall crime dropped 1.7 percent during the Biden Admi. to actually raising to 4.9 percent. It now shows thousands of increases in murders, rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults. They gave no explanation for the previous report errors. Makes me wonder about the Drones.
Unlike another person that worked the polls, I saw no effort by Republicans (or Democrats) to restrict ballot accessibility at the 3 locations that I worked. There was no precise double checking of name and address to DL's and voter registration cards to find the very slightest error to prevent people from voting. As of matter of fact, you didn't even need a voter registration card. What I witnessed was the upmost effort to help people to vote regardless of race or any other factors other than being a citizen of voting age and verifying their address.
Democrats ran Texas for 120 years. Some of those were under the rule of slavery, the thumb of the KKK and Jim Crow Laws, and opposing the Civil Rights Laws. When LBJ signed those laws to get the Black Vote, those Dems. that left the party didn't join the party that fought to preserve the Union and free the slaves. They stopped voting for 'them liberal do-gooders' as they called them.
The IRS 501 Tax Stats released 5/14/2021 shows that the claim The President Trump 2017 Tax Cut benefited the wealthy unfairly and disproportionately according to the far left is pure mythology. It clearly shows that the middle and working class benefited the most. Those with an adjusted gross income of 15 to 50,000 got an average tax cut of 16 to 26% the first year, 50 to 100 got 15-17% and 100 to 500 got 11-13%.
The majority of the Trump Tariffs were kept by the Biden Adim. And he increased them on Chi-Na Including a 100% tariff on electric cars made in Chi-Na.
I feel for the people of Ukraine. Not only has their county been invaded but their county is no longer a democracy. It is under martial law, elections have been suspended, opposition parties have been banned, and they continue to struggle with political corruption.
Hopefully, President Trump can help the sides reach a settlement there and in the Middle East instead of just supplying weapons.
