The Hill Country Samaritans cordially invites everyone to the Twelfth Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23.
The meal will take place in the Lakehills Community Center, located at 11,225 PR 37, in Lakehills, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The event will include live music by the Beedle family and friends.
It is not a drive-through and dining-in is preferred, so there will only be limited take-outs. It will be a time of gratitude, friendship and fellowship for all.
Volunteers are needed, before, during and after the meal. Call the Samaritans at 956-521-7694 if you would like to help out for this event.
The Hill Country Samaritans was formed in 2018 and their motto is, “Loving Christ and serving others.”
They are a non-profit organization and they sponsor several events in Bandera County, including the free Walk Through Bethlehem in December and the hugely popular Back to School Bash held every year in July.
The group partners with churches, businesses, and individuals through Jesus’ name to meet the needs of others in our community, regardless of any church’s doctrine.
Everyone involved is a volunteer, both secular and church-going, and donations are always needed and welcome.
To volunteer, or to get more information, go to their website at hillcountrysamaritans.org, follow them on Facebook, or call 210-818-3519.
