Medina Basketball is off to a great start for the 2023-24 season.
The Lady Cats have a 2-1 record after earning two wins the week of Nov. 13-17.
While not a high scoring team, the Lady Cats make up for it on defense holding opponents to low scoring contests.
The Lady Cats defeated Sabinal 31-30 and Junction 20-17 for the two victories.
Medina Junior High Basketball is also posting wins for the season.
The Junior High Lady Cats are currently 2-0 with big wins over D’Hanis and Utopia.
The Junior High Bobcats bounced back after a loss to D’Hanis to defeat Utopia by a score of 26-18.
