David competed with high school jazz pianists across the state of Texas to win to win the first chair piano position.
David plays percussion in the BHS Marching and Symphonic Bands and piano in the BHS Jazz Band.
This past September, David auditioned for the Region 29/32 Jazz Band and earned first chair on piano. He then advanced to Area before winning state on Saturday, Nov. 11
In January, David will perform with the Region 29/32 Jazz Band. In February, he will perform with the All State Jazz Band in San Antonio at the Texas Music Educators Convention.
