Bandera High School Powerlifters kicked off their season on Saturday, Jan. 18, at Legacy Middle School for their first meet, hosted by East Central High School. Several lifters earned recognition for their efforts, including Ruby Lister (220), Merry Robinson (105), and Logan Harman (SHW), who each earned third-place medals. Ashton Robinson (165) took home his first-ever first-place medal. The Bandera Powerlifters continue to show strong potential, and their next meet is scheduled for Feb. 1 at Somerset Junior High School.
