Join us for a fun beginning to the new year.
Back by popular demand the library will be hosting another murder mystery night Friday, February 7 from 6:00–7:00 p.m. The theme for this Valent ine thriller is “Murder at the Pizzeria.”
It’s opening night at Italian restaurant Bella Morte’s, but before toppings can be ordered, rival restaurant owner Karl Ickbread is found deceased in the pantry!
You can put your investigative skills to use and try to solve this murderous caper.
A comparable mystery program will be provided for children 9-15 years of age, and a movie will be shown for the little ones.
So, we have something for the whole family! The library is also happy to announce the complete digitization of our newspaper archive.
The archive is linked from the library’s website and can be accessed at no cost.
This important project will help preserve Bandera's colorful history for future generations.
Digital archives provide valuable primary source material for students and researchers.
It is also a great tool for genealogy research. Many genealogists use newspaper archives to find information about ancestors, including birth announcements, obituaries, and marriage notices.
