The Joshua D. Brown Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas is offering two $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in 2025.
Eligible students must reside in Bandera, Kendall or Kerr counties, or be the child, grandchild, niece or nephew of a Joshua D. Brown Chapter member living anywhere in Texas.
All area seniors may apply for both scholarships.
The Joshua D. Brown Scholarship is open to students planning to pursue an associate or bachelor’s degree at a Texas college, university or trade school and who are set to graduate by June 2025.
The Sarah Jane Goss Scholarship will be awarded to a student with special needs, including learning, physical or cognitive conditions.
The same eligibility requirements apply to both scholarships.
