The Bandera County Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of its annual awards , recognizing outstanding contributions to the community.
Recipients were celebrated at the Chamber’s annual banquet held Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Bandera Pioneer River RV Resort.
Awards were presented for Cowboy Capital, Citizen of the Year, Business Community Service, Volunteer of the Year, Director’s Award and the Wilton Crider Cowboy Preservation Award.
This year’s winners include:
• Cowboy Capital Award: Texas Salt Co.
• Citizen of the Year: Ron Gherman
• Business Community Service Award: Out of the Way Cafe
• Volunteer of the Year: Linda James
• Director’s Award: Minnie Mendiola
• Wilton Crider Cowboy Preservation Award: Troy Konvicka
