The Texas State Troopers Association (TSTA) has opened the application period for its 2025 TSTA Scholarship Program, which will run through May 30, 2025.
This year, TSTA will award ten $500 scholarships to students pursuing higher education.
The program is open to students entering or currently enrolled in an accredited college, and applicants must be sponsored by a TSTA member to be eligible.
Applicants must submit a letter from their TSTA member sponsor, high school or college transcripts, and a description of their participation in academic, civic, or extracurricular activities.
They must also include an essay about their relationship with their sponsor, their current education goals, and future aspirations, along with two to three letters of recommendation from faculty, employers, or other references.
“We are proud to support the educational goals of students in our TSTA family,” said Rohnnie Shaw, TSTA executive director. “Investing in education is investing in the future, and we are honored to help these young men and women pursue their dreams.”
