BIDEN’S FEMA AND OTHER SHORTCOMINGS!
Well, maybe the left really doesn’t lie, they just don’t tell you the “Rest of the Story.”
When Trump says we don’t need FEMA, and the states should take care of disasters on their own, the rest of the story is that he has stated that the states will receive some reimbursement. The states already pay into a FEMA fund, some states get back more than they paid in. They would just keep that money which they should invest in a rainy-day fund.
Currently, FEMA funds are also used for HUD, SBA, and DHS projects. There is probably some fraud and waste there.
Here are some Biden FEMA highlights.
From FEMA’s own website, in two years over ONE BILLION DOLLARS was spent on noncitizen migrants, that means illegal aliens, for just resettlement programs and other services. As a result, according to Secretary Alejandro Mayoroses, the department did not have funds to make it through the hurricane season.
The Helene victims received a one-time payment of $750 for essentials, and if they don’t have insurance, they can apply for other assistance while the government housed illegals. Everyone is on their own in the meantime.
That’s how it worked in North Carolina under Biden.
Illegals got taken care of in NYC for a total cost of over SEVEN BILLION. Now magnify that FEMA waste on non-citizens from just one government agency and we have not even touched USAID.
That’s just a small part of how FEMA worked under Biden.
Several liberal DEI anti-conservative racist federal judges have ruled on President Trump’s executive orders. Most of them have been about birthright citizenship, which actually was passed as the 14th Amendment after the Civil War to protect the rights of freed slaves and their children but not Native Americans. It has been prostituted by liberal judges to give citizenship to the children of illegal aliens born in the U.S.
FDR, the Democrat, has been the only president elected to serve more than two terms. He was elected four times. But the 22nd Amendment was passed to place a two-term limit. To repeal it would require a two-thirds majority vote of both Houses and then a 75% majority vote of all states. It isn’t going to happen, despite Trump’s joking about it.
Of course, the left had no hissy fit when Bill Clinton entertained the idea and still supports it. However, the 22nd only places a limit on being elected, it doesn’t place any limits on serving as president. It doesn’t say he can’t be VP or Speaker of the House. That should drive the Libs bananas.
All people can have their own opinion of cabinet nominees. It’s their performance after confirmation that counts. Well, we know about Biden’s cabinet—FEMA, open borders, DEI, critical race theory, and Biden’s weaponizing of the DOJ, etc.
Sure, you can report Trump’s approval ratings are falling if you use liberal far-left-leaning bias polls like CNN or the Washington Post.
I have not read all of Project 2025. It’s very detailed and 887 pages, so I can’t comment on everything. The federal workforce is 2.3 million. With the post office, it’s 2.9. Seems to me it would be impossible to reduce it to 300,000. Musk wants to privatize the post office. Their mail delivery could be a lot better. Got your mail lately? Mine is misdirected or just plain lost quite often.
At present, of the 2.9 million federal workers, 30,000 have been released. The majority have been probationary with the exception of 10,000 at the State Department.
Yes, the majority, I am sure, have families and all have obligations. Not all conservatives are heartless, by the way. They certainly are not baskets of deplorable pieces of garbage floating around.
Republicans didn’t oppose school busing as Biden did, saying he didn’t want his kids going to a racial jungle. In fact, Democrats filibustered the 1964 civil rights laws for 60 days, which almost killed it.
In regard to Project 2025, my comments are based on my reading parts of it and not just reading some Google search opinion review. I don’t necessarily agree with all of Project 2025 content, nor disagree with all of it either.
Some items that I read as misunderstood: It doesn’t stop free school meals, it suggests reducing waste and cutting its budget.
It doesn’t cut Medicare, it suggests turning it over to the states with no federal oversight and stricter qualifications. Everyone forgets that ObamaCare destroyed health care by reducing choice, driving up cost, and increasing co-pays.
It doesn’t end child protection and juvenile justice programs—it takes DEI, critical race theory, and wokeness out of school programs and moves enforcement to the DOJ.
It suggests replacing the Head Start Program with school vouchers for all.
Over 20 million chickens have died from the bird flu. Over 40 million were culled in the U.S. as a result. That was just in December and January alone. Hopefully, egg prices will go down when the hen population catches up.
I agree that it will take more than a day to lower food prices and get inflation under control. Sometimes Mr. Mouth just doesn’t know when to shut up.
The retirement age for Social Security has been moved up since its inception in 1938 by both parties.
A convicted criminal in the White House? Really?
Alvin Bragg needs to join Fani Willis.
It took Hitler from 1918 to 1933 to dismantle the German government and put his Nazi Party in complete control. A lot longer than one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours, and 40 minutes.
It’s a shame that when Hitler tried to overthrow the government in 1923, instead of receiving a prison sentence for treason, he wasn’t executed. Later, it would have saved the world a lot of horror. He served less than nine months of a five-year sentence and wrote Mein Kampf while he was serving it.
I wonder how many fascist dictators have women and minorities serving in their cabinets.
