The Medina Bobcats and Lady Cats continued their dominance in district competition, with both teams remaining unbeaten in the 2025 season.

The Bobcats secured a 15-5 victory over the visiting Menard Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, March 25. Shortstop Davis Peterson led the offense, going 5-for-5 with three RBIs.

Cooper Arnold and Ty Jones each added two hits, with Jones driving in two runs. Holland Cook earned the win on the mound while contributing two RBIs at the plate.

The victory moves the Bobcats to 2-0 in district play.

The Lady Cats improved to 3-0 in district action with a commanding 22-1 road win over Menard on Friday, March 28. Hallie Kunz fueled the offense with four hits, six RBIs, and three stolen bases.

Audrey Gatlin added four hits, while Brooke Mancha and Ahnika Grassie combined for seven stolen bases. Hattie Barton earned the win, striking out five batters.

In non-district play, the Bobcats shut out Our Lady of the Hills School-Kerrville 12-0 on March 28. JT Kunz, Peterson, and Nathan Jilek each recorded a hit, with Kunz leading in RBIs with three. Cook, Kunz, and Jones stole two bases each to power the offense.

On the mound, Jones struck out six batters in two innings to secure the win, while Jilek and Kunz closed out the game with scoreless relief appearances.
