Libraries need Friends – it’s just that straightforward.
Indeed, across America many public libraries were started through the efforts of community members who appreciated the value of libraries to their communities.
They also understood that libraries needed community support to thrive. The Bandera Kronkosky Public Library is no exception.
Did you know that the Friends of the Library provide funding for our library collection?
In fact, most of those new books you see on the library displays are purchased with funds generously donated by the Friends.
Friends also help the library by volunteering, particularly during special library programs. In addition, the Friends of the Bandera Library put on a book fair the first Saturday of each month.
