On Nov. 1, 2023, the men and women inmates received their program certificates for completing 5 weeks of the Inmate Prepped For Life curriculum in the Bandera County Jail. This curriculum provides faith-based instruction in life and behavioral management skills, including anger management, generational programming, healthy relationships, trauma, and learning how self-imposed roadblocks affected their life choices. Inmates receive 20 hours of instruction and a definite sense of accomplishment as they learn their new identity in Christ. In 2024, classes will run throughout the year. Each session serves up to eight men and eight women. This program has served inmates in the Kendall County Jail since January 2022.
