Each year, the Hill Country Master Gardeners, an educational resource for the local Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, selects an organization as their charity for donations by members.
This year’s recipient is Mercy Gate Ministries whose mission is to help in the prevention, rescue, and advocacy for the victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking.
President Elect Master Gardener Sheryl Landrum, accompanied by Rae Raiford, Vice President and Frank Dunlap delivered a gift of $2,300 to Lesley Lehrmann, Kaitlyn Bowen, Sylvia Garcia and Jen of Mercy Gate Ministries on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
