Bandera Academic Decathlon secures a coveted spot in the upcoming Thomas E. Mosley State competition (Division 1) scheduled for February, following an impressive second place finish at the Regional Competition held in Corpus Christi.
The team not only clinched the 2nd place overall but also excelled in the Super Quiz, clinching the top spot.
Notably, three out of the nine team members were recognized as the overall high scorers in their respective divisions:
•William Ozzie Knowles, honors division – 1st place
• Raegan Derrick, scholastic division – 2nd place
• Steven Koonce, varsity division – 1st place In addition, the team accumulated 28 individual medals.
