Girls aged 6 and up are invited to join the library’s official Girls Who Code Club. The group meets every Thursday from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Teen Center. They learn how to code computers, build and control robots, and much more!
Looking to re-home your kids’ gobs of Legos? We are still collecting Legos for a crafting project on Tuesday, November 21st.
If your child or grandchild has outgrown their Legos or you are looking forward to the day you can confidently walk barefoot across your living room floor again, please consider donating extra Legos to the library. Just drop them off at the front desk in a bag or box. We appreciate your support!
With the holiday season upon us, it is a great idea to get registered for our monthly newsletter. We always have lots of special programming at the library during this time of year.
The week of Thanksgiving, we have two special programs for families with kids off school. Stop by on Monday, November 20, at 3 p.m. for a Family Crafting event.
We will be making Indian Corn crafts that are perfect for adding a special handmade touch to your Thanksgiving tablescape. On Tuesday, as mentioned above, we are hosting a Lego Make-And-Take.
Kids of all ages (and those adults who are kids at heart) can come to the library and use Legos to create whatever their creativity can conjure. Each piece can be entered into an online contest for the best overall project. We hope you can join us!
