The next, regular, Book Sale will be Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The library is pleased to announce a new daytime book club, called the B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Book) Book Club.
They will meet on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning Feb. 13, from 1 to 2 p.m. It will offer a different format, with each attendee bringing a book that they read in the previous month, or recently, and telling a little bit about it, without spoiling the ending, and if they recommend it or not.
The book can be in any format: hardcover, softcover, paperback, ebook, or audiobook. All are welcome to join the club and discuss all things bookish.
The Evening Book Club will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 5:30 p.m. They will discuss Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.
Every Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., Ms. Dianna reads to the pre-school kiddos, leading them in songs and crafts.
A new class is offered by AACOG. The eight lessons are free and are called A Matter of Balance. Class size is limited to 12 persons and is designed to increase strength, balance, and activity level.
They will help to decrease the fear of falling. The classes will be held on Mondays, from 1 to 3 p.m., beginning Feb. 12, through April 15. Pre-register by contacting the library.
The Board meets Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 4:30 p.m. The public is welcome.
In the Healthcare Marketplace, healthcare assistance will be offered on Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The Smartphone Classes are held on the first and third Mondays, Feb. 5 and Feb. 19, from 11 a.m. to noon.
The Garden Club meets on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The library seeks donations to Funded by the Foot, a program to improve the surface of the community walking track. Letters of support are very helpful for grants. Donate by check, card or cash at the desk, or online at the website. Call for more information.
To show support for the library, patrons can purchase T-shirts. Coming in two styles, adult and kids sizes, and multiple colors, they can be ordered at the desk.
