I am 59 years old. I have been married to my wife, Rose Tschirhart Popham, for 39 years with 2 children, Blake Popham and Allison Popham Lehman. Our children have blessed us with 7 beautiful and amazing grand children. We have made our home on the Tschirhart Ranch located in Lakehills, TX. We are very blessed to have had this ranch in the family for over 200 years, located on Medina Lake.
I have lived in this community my whole life. My love for the community and people who live in the community is the reason I am seeking this position. I had been in law enforcement for over 20 years, prior to going into business for myself.
Once I am elected, I will work full time to protect the citizens of Lakehills. When working in law enforcement, I worked for Bandera County Sheriff's office so I know the area and people very well. I have also worked for the Bandera police department as a lieutenant acting chief of police.
As a public servant I plan to work very hard for the people in the community. I'll have an open door policy. I will listen to complaints/ concerns and address the situation.
Once elected I would like to hold monthly meetings that would include the sheriff, and Pct. 2 commissioner, so that way we will all be made aware of concerns the citizens of Lakehills have, we can establish and meet goals to improve on our area. As being visible and active constable in Lakehills this is what will help solve issues and prevent criminal activity. With that I would appreciate your vote on March 5th for the Republican Primary Election.
