Medina varsity softball added another win to their record last Tuesday, Feb. 20 The Lady Cats hosted New Braunfels Christian in a 4 p.m. matchup.
New Braunfels took an early lead 2-0 in the top of the first, but the Lady Cats would not be deterred.
Medina scored 11 runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a commanding lead.
They added 4 more in the bottom of the third and fourth innings to ensure the victory by the 15-run rule in just four innings of play.
After a 7-3 loss to Somerset Academy on Feb. 23, the team faced Comfort on Tuesday. Results were not available by the Bulletin’s deadline.
The team kicks off a tournament March 1.
