On Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024 some of the residents of Bridlegate Ranch gathered to watch their neighbors demonstrate their horsemanship on an equine obstacle course set up in the arena at one of two community centers.
This event was the ninth Annual Equine Fun Day, which gives horse and mule owners of Bridlegate the opportunity to showcase the talents of both animals and riders. It also gives neighbors a chance to get together in an informal way to share an activity that is fun for both adults and children.
The little wranglers in the group were given the chance to compete in the arena on stick horses.
The day culminated with a gathering of the cowgirls who were in attendance so that a group picture could be taken.
In addition to the horse activities, there was also an art show set up, where community artists were able to display their artwork. Paintings, drawings, fabric arts, ceramics, metalwork and other creations were on display.
