Howdy to All!

We have some cool stuff going on at the Bandera Kronkosky Public Library.

The next Friends Book Fair is on Saturday, April 6.

So, make sure to stop by and pick up a book and support your local library!

Also, while you’re here check out the Texana Room. This special collection celebrates everything Texas. If you love Texas like I do, you can easily spend an afternoon just looking through the stacks.

There are plenty of rare and curious titles to be discovered.

Thinking about picking up a new hobby or rekindling an old one? Check out the Watercolor Group. They meet each Monday at 10 a.m. These talented artists are more than willing to share a few pointers with those so inclined. Likewise, the Country Music Group meets every Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Pull out that guitar, fiddle, or banjo that’s been gathering dust and come on out.

These pickers play just about everything from Hank Williams to Bob Dylan. There is truly something for all musical tastes.

Currently, one of our most unique programs is Girls that Code. This group meets every Thursday at 4 p.m. and delves into the fascinating world of computer coding.

So, if you have a young lady 9 to 13 years of age this may be the perfect after-school activity. Until next time, happy reading!

Paul Phelan is the Exeuctive Director of the Bandera Public Library.
