The Commissioners Court of Bandera County, Texas, will convene for a regular meeting Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m. at the Bandera County Courthouse located at 500 Main St., Bandera.
Among the topics slated for discussion are requests for replatting subdivisions into single lots in Lake Medina Shores, Castle Lake Ranch and Hilltop Subdivision.
Additionally, Bryan and Lanelle Evans of Texas SportBike Moto Rallies will make a presentation regarding their organization and request the use of Mansfield Park for a sports bike rally event in September 2024.
Susan Junker, Commander of Bandera American Legion Post 157, will request the use of the courthouse lawn for events in 2024.
The Bandera County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau will present the 1st Quarter Financials for FY 2023-24.
Furthermore, the meeting will cover the Bandera County Annex building project, considerations for purchasing described properties according to Property Tax Code, and the presentation of the audit for Bandera County’s fiscal year ended September 30, 2023.
Other agenda items include adopting S.J.R. No. 64 to exempt childcare facilities from certain property taxes, resolving funding for EMS building HVAC issues, and approving an agreement with Trizetto Provider Solutions, LLC for electronic claims submission.
The Bandera County Sheriff’s Office will request the purchase of two new patrol vehicles using Senate Bill 22 funds, and there will be discussions on budget line item transfers and amendments.
