Court conducts regular business

At the April 11 Commissioner’s Court regular meeting, Wayne Gondeck of DRG Architects presented his firm’s findings of the best ranked/ best value contractor for the County’s Annex Building project.

At the April 11 Commissioner’s Court regular meeting, Wayne Gondeck of DRG Architects presented his firm’s findings of the best ranked/ best value contractor for the County’s Annex Building project.

Tegrity Construction was their recommendation, to which the Court approved. According to DRG, the timeline to break ground for the new Annex building will be in late May.

Gondeck told the Bulletin, 'We are looking forward to and excited about the Bandera County Annex project. The Contractor is nearing completion on another project for DRG Architects and has demonstrated quality work. We anticipate a very successful project for Bandera County.'

Commissioner Jody Rutherford confirmed that the contract will be officially signed by Judge Richard Evans only after Gondeck meets with Tegrity to finalize the agreement.

In other business, the Court approved a $2,500 change order for a door replacement project that is ongoing at the EMS building.

In consideration of changing the second regular Court meeting in April to allow Commissioners to attend the West Texas County Judges and Commissioner’s Court Conference on April 23-26, the Court decided to not move the date.

The regular Commissioner’s Court meeting will take place as scheduled on April 25.
