Medina Lady Cat Softball is pleased to honor many athletes for 2024 All-District Selections. Lady Cat honorees are:
• Offensive Player of the Year — Hattie Barton
• Defensive Player of the Year – Autumn Turner
• Utility Player of the Year – Hallie Kunz
• 1st Team All-District – Kytlin Peterson
• 1st Team All-District – Ahnika Grassie
• 2nd Team All-District – Kailey McCabe
• 2nd Team All-District – Audrey Gatlin
In other sports news, Medina High School softball and baseball teams both concluded their seasons last week in the Texas State Playoffs.
The Lady Cat softball team was defeated by a tough team from Slocum in the Regional Semifinal Round.
Bobcat baseball was defeated in the Regional Quarterfinal round by the defending State Runner- Up Champions from Fayetteville.
