Adventure begins at the Medina Community Library this summer.
This adventure will begin with the MAD SCIENCE crew visiting Austin on May 30 at 5:15 p.m.
Science experiences and experiments will be enjoyed by all. Audience participation is encouraged. HCTC will be there since they are sponsoring this program.
This will also be a great time to sign up for the reading program or if you are a young adult or adult, you can sign up for our reading challenge.
On June 20 at 10 a.m., BEC is sponsoring the The Petting Zoo in our back garden.
Additionally, Dinosaur George will take over the Rodney Camp Pavilion and have his Natural History Musuem at our library July 10 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. The visit is free and there will be dinosaur bones, rocks, minerals and all things Earth.
This museum is sponsored by the Gnade Trust and H. E.B.
Texas Parks and Wildlife and HEB are helping us host four nature programs which will include a guest speaker, little film clip and activities about Ocolets (May 31) Black Bears (June 14) Texas Bats (June 28) and Redfish (July 12) All of these will be at 5:30 p.m.
We also have weekly Wednesday activities at 10:30 on these days: June 12, June 19, June 26 and July 17.
