After a much anticipated and very successful RoundUp fundraiser, The Hill Country CattleWomen will be kicking back and enjoying a lovely luncheon at the beautiful Sandstone Street Bed and Breakfast, 508 E. Sandstone in Llano, on Tuesday, May 21.
As always, the gathering will begin at 10 a.m. with some delightful socializing and exchange of stories, followed by our regular monthly business meeting and guest speaker.
Our guest speaker will be Llano native Jo Ann McDougall from the Llano County Historical Museum.
Ms. McDougall will be sharing details on the colorful past of the Norton Mansion located high on a hill just east of Llano on Highway 29.
We are looking forward to just sitting back and taking in the history of this stately mansion. Lunch will be served at noon at a cost of $25 per person.
The Hill Country CattleWomen welcome all within the 14 counties we serve.
This is also a great opportunity to join The CattleWomen for it is during the month of May when we renew our memberships and take in new members for our upcoming year.
So come have some fun, meet some friends old and new, learn about the rich history of The Norton Mansion, have a nice roast BEEF lunch and sit back and relax in the garden gazebo of The Sandstone Bed and Breakfast.
Kindly RSVP online at hillcountrycattlewomen. org or contact Gaye at [email protected] or (713) 502-1721.
Teresa Ganis is the 1st VP of Publicity for Hill Country Cattlewomen.
