We have some cool stuff going on at the Bandera Kronkosky Public Library.
The next Friends Book Fair is on Saturday, May 4. A great way to support your local library is to stop by and pick up a few books.
Also, the Friends of the Library are holding their annual membership drive.
A generous donor has agreed to match all new membership donations in the month of April. So, if you aren’t a member already now is the time to sign up!
Here are some dates for the calendar. Preschool Storytime is every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
The Pokémon League meets every Monday at 4:30 p.m.
Girls Who Code meets every Thursday at 4 p.m.
The adult Watercolor Group meets at 10 a.m. every Monday.
The Country Music Group meets at 10 a.m. every Wednesday.
The Bandera Gardening Club meets the second Tuesday at 10 a.m.
The Macrame Group meets on the second and fourth Thursday at 4 p.m.
The Yarn Party Group meets the first and third Friday at 4 p.m.
The Dungeons & Dragons Group meets each Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Drum roll. I am pleased to announce that the 2024 Summer Reading Programs have been scheduled.
The theme this year is “Adventure Begins at Your Library.”
Due to generous donations from Aetna and BEC we will be offering 4 Saturday programs this year as well.
It promises to be the biggest SRP yet! Stay tuned for further details.
I’d also like to take a quick second and say how much I enjoyed judging the Easter Parade.
It was a great event, and I am looking forward to next year.
