Bandera local Dennis Allyn hoists the three trophies he took home from the 2023 Wild Bunch Film Festival in Oct. 2023. Allyn took home Best Western Faith-Based Film for “The Church, Part 2: The Remnants.” The same short placed third for best poster. Allyn also took home Best Western short score/song for “Heaven Yes, Hell No,” which was written and performed by Thomas Michael Riley for another Allyn film, “The Ride to Tres Cuerdas.” His films are currently available online for free.
