Authorities searching for two missing Lakehills women
The Bandera County Sheriff’s Department is asking for any tips regarding the whereabouts of 25-year-old Jordan Tompkins and 33-year-old Brittany McMahon, both Lakehills women who have disappeared.
“Please call us if you have any information,” said Bandera County Chief Deputy Matt King. “We look into every tip and answer all calls.”
Tompkins was last seen walking alone on PR 37 on April 22. She is 5’3” and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, short dark-blonde hair and has tattoos.
McMahon was last seen June 19 on Old Loop 173. She is 5’1” and weighs 120 pounds. She has hazel eyes, blonde hair with dark roots, tattoos and a broken left wrist.
Social media posts from family members say that neither has made any contact with them, which is highly unusual for both women.
King says investigators walked “miles and miles” looking for any information or even remains, but are still investigating.
He added the department has a full staff of deputies taking things “incredibly seriously.”
“We work with the staff commissioners give us,” he said. “We can’t just go out and hire more people.”
