Tamera “Tammy” Seale Kneuper Seeking Re-election as District Clerk for Bandera County
Editor’s Note: The following is an election announcement from a local candidate. The Bulletin grants local candidates one election announcement free of charge, with all following election materials charged an ad fee.
First elected in January 1999 when the population of Bandera County required the Combination County and District Clerk’s office to be split and made into two separate offices.
“I enjoy what I do. Each and everyday is new and challenging and I feel by having worked in different areas of County and City Government for the last 42 years. I am contributing my knowledge and experience back to the job and to Bandera County. My mission is “To represent Bandera County in a manner that exhibits pride, efficiency and individual respect for all. To focus on improving my performance while providing expanded service options at the lowest cost to taxpayers”.
I look forward to new and exciting challenges each and every day. The District Clerk's Office is the nerve center of the district courts and family law cases in Bandera County, the link between the courts and the people, as well as the heart of a large network that provides vital information to other agencies and offices. My office is called on to assure the affairs of the district courts are maintained objectively with the full confidence of judicial authorities. Attending educational conferences ensures I have the most current and up to date rules and laws to assist me in running the most efficient and professional office I can. Being well informed allows me to serve the people of Bandera County to the best of my ability.
During the height of the COVID Pandemic my office met the challenges of the restrictions and emergency orders and remained fully staffed and available to assist anyone who had business with the District Clerk’s office. We met and conquered Zoom Hearings, the use of face masks, face shields and tons of hand sanitizer to ensure anyone who we came in contact with was safe and well protected while tending and maintaining a normal workday.
I am an active member of the County and District Clerk’s Association of Texas and have served as an officer for the Association, being inducted as the President for the Association in 2018 and serving on all committees for the association. I served as a Board of Director for the Texas Association of Counties and on the Advisory Committee for the Office of Court Administration. I am a member of the Texas District Court Alliance serving as the secretary for the association and am an active member of the Bandera County Republican Women.
As a member of the First Baptist Church of Medina I served for several years as choir director and as Treasurer along with my husband. I enjoy working in my community, volunteering at the Medina Independent School District and other community organizations whenever needed. In July 2015 I was inducted into the Joshua D. Brown Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and currently hold the office of Corresponding Secretary for the Chapter.
I was born and raised in Bandera County and reside in Medina on the Seale family homestead. I have been married to my friend and life partner, Gerald for 49 years. We have two children, Shannon Miller and Charles Kneuper who have blessed us with three grandsons, Cade and Cash Kneuper, and Samuel Miller and one granddaughter, Shyanne Miller, which are the joy of my life.
I ask for and appreciate your continued support by electing me as your District Clerk in the Republican Primary on Tuesday March 1,2022 and I look forward to continue serving the citizens of Bandera County.
