Austin Medley of Bandera was an honors graduate at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi during its commencement exercises last month at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi. Medley graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree, the university said. More than 1,029 students participated in the fall commencement ceremony in December. That made it the largest fall graduating class in the university’s history, with 17 percent more students graduating than had done so a year earlier, officials said.
