Medina bounced back from a 58-12 loss to St. Jo on Aug. 29 to play the Morton Indians tough in a 35-32 loss on Thursday, Sept. 3, in the neutral location of Hermleigh.
The Bobcats traveled 293 miles one way to Hermleigh, while the Indians traveled 183 miles one way to the location.
In describing the game, Medina Head Football coach Kurt Nichols said,“We played Morton in a very close, competitive game. It was 19-19 at half, and with one minute left, we were up 32-27.
“We kicked off after scoring a 60-yard pass from Nate Aguilar to T.J. Deleon.
