In recognition of the importance of the programs that combat child abuse, Bandera County Commissioners’ Court unanimously approved a resolution proclaiming April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month in the county at its Thursday, March 26, meeting.
The resolution said in part that child abuse and neglect “are a serious problem affecting every segment of our community” and that “communities must make every effort to promote programs and activities that create strong and thriving children and families.”
