The Lakehills United Methodist Church’s annual Chicken Dinner fundraiser will be held on Sunday, Oct. 6, in the church’s Mission Hall, which is at the corner of 8th and J Street in Lakehills. In addition to the dinner, which will include the sale of whole chickens without any side dishes for $11, a Trade Day will be held at the church. That will enable area artists and craftsmen an opportunity to sell their wares, while giving residents an outlet to put excess household items and other goods they no longer need up for sale.
