Walker Community Church in the Wharton’s Dock area will collect donated items for a church yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 5, and again on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. The church is looking for a variety of products – from household furniture and appliances to exercise equipment, tools, toys and winter clothing – to be donated. Church officials ask that the donations be in good, working condition. The donations will be received both days at the church, 8135 Wharton’s Dock Road.
