City seeks public input regarding grant

[email protected]

The City of Bandera is calling for community participation and feedback after securing a $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Economic Development program.

“This initiative is crucial for shaping a vibrant future for Bandera, ensuring that the city's development aligns with the needs and aspirations of its residents,” the survey explains. It includes questions on economic development, growth, and community goals.

To kick off the initiative, the city has launched an online survey designed to gather insights from residents, business owners, and stakeholders.

This survey aims to identify significant economic opportunities and challenges within the community.

The information collected will guide the selection of a strategic economic development project, serving as the foundation for sustainable growth and economic enhancement, according to the city's website.

The USDA's Rural Economic Development loan and grant programs offer grants and zero-interest loans to support rural projects that aim to create and retain jobs in rural areas.

Residents can access the survey via the city’s website at www.banderatx.gov or directly at https://forms.office.com/Pages/ ResponsePage.aspx?id=whAHbuu13k- veKKZuHmAOvodfehi-PO5Nvyk2K3fHxgRURUZVMz-BOVUQ4NVhaOU5TRVZSUko2S0VZWiQlQCN0PWcu.
