Bandera County Commissioners formalized a contract with Fisher Heck Architects to restore the old courthouse and jail by a vote of 2-1 on Feb. 21.The agreement for architectural and professional services to restore the historical buildings for use as a new county visitors center follows a Feb. 9 approval of Fisher Heck’s proposal of $76,000 plus allowances.The county is also considering a museum and new locale for the Chamber of Commerce in these dwellings.During consideration, Commissioner Jack Moseley motioned to accept the agreement; Commissioner Greg Gothues seconded the motion.
