COVID death count at 64

The Teaxs Department of State Health Services (DSHS) listed 64 fatalities related to COVID-19 as of Monday afternoon.

DSHS listed 77 active cases of COVID-19 in the county as of Monday afternoon.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 1,6762 confirmed cases of the virus and 732 probable cases, according to DSHS. 2,354 cases to date have been marked as recovered.

Peterson Health listed four people hospitalized as of Tuesday morning, one of which was in the site’s Intensive Care Unit.

Free vaccines are being distribute by Vaccinate Bandera at Mansfield Park on Wednesday, December 15 from noon to four during the Silver Sage’s food distribution.

The group will also aid in making and getting to vaccine appointments.
