Former state senator and gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis made a campaign stop in Bandera earlier in February as she seeks the Democratic nomination to the Texas 21st Congressional District seat, saying it’s a seat that the Democrats can take from Republicans.
“I’m committed to turning the state blue,” Davis told a crowd of about 40 people at a Bandera County Democratic Club meeting in early February. “I’ll fight with everything I have to win this seat.”
