Bandera High School’s nationally ranked Academic Decathlon team is positioned to repeat their previous years’ successes. The team hopes to place first in Regionals and place in the top spot at state competition for the small school division.
Bandera earned 28,179.9 points in Round One competition in December using only the seven objective test scores (speech, essay and interview competitions were not included in the leaderboard reporting in Round I. The team’s actual Round 1 score was 43,108.).
Regionals are expected to include speeches and interviews using Zoom remote conferencing.
