As of November 10, exceptional drought, the highest possible designation for drought intensity, is now impacting nine percent of the state This is highest level since May 2014.
In the last 60 days, most of Texas has received less than half of normal precipitation.
During October, Kendall County received less than a quarter inch of precipitation, less than seven percent normal for November.
