The Bandera community came together on Wednesday, May 27, to distribute food to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and others in need for food assistance.
Four sites were open around the county for the distribution - Mansfield Park, the Wharton’s Dock Pool, the Medina Fire Station and the Lakehills Civic Center - from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Between 30 and 40 volunteers came together to pack the boxes of food at Mansfield Park, the main distribution site. There were a half dozen volunteers at each satellite site as well.
