Elenora Dugosh Goodley, whose hard worked helped cement Bandera as the Cowboy Capital of the World, passed away in Helotes on April 13.
She was 83.
Goodley, known to her friends as “Casey,” was among the first descendants of the original Polish immigrants who established St. Stanislaus Catholic Parish in Bandera.
Her passion for local history was an unstoppable force in Bandera that helped identify and safeguard the county’s historical assets and reshape its image.
