“Sweet Jane” author Joanne Easley has been nominated for Indie Author Project’s Author of the Year award following her selection as a winner in the Texas regional contest, which fielded thousands of submissions from authors of all types.
“Sweet Jane” follows Jane, who runs away at the age of 16 and experiences the summer of love. Seventeen years later, she returns home for her mother’s funeral and faces the events that shaped her family.
Easley was nominated alongside 28 other books whose authors from 14 states and Ontario.
